Set each button for whatever function you want - hopefully you know how to do that part, if not the basic instruction would be to hover over the desired button on the pic of your mouse and click the little down arrow that appears to access the menu for assigning new commands to that button. Ok, once your new 7 Days profile is in your Profiles list, make sure it is the one selected, and then you can start modifying all of your buttons. I always click the "Lock profile while game is running" option too, before hitting OK and having the profile save. Once you find and select that executable, it will be in your new Profile list you were creating for 7 Days. You have to locate the 7 Days executable that will be running when you are playing the game (I'm at work at the moment, can't give you the specific path). This is where the LGS software is a bit clunky - put in a name for the profile and a description (7 Days to Die), then hit the + down below to open up a file browser. At the top of that screen you will see a Profiles area, you will need to hit the "+" key and create a new profile. Click the icon at the bottom of LGS showing a mouse with some arrows, that is the programming screen. Make sure "Automatic Game Detection" is on, and your mouse is selected (it will be pictured on the main screen of LGS). So how do I map the keys? I use LGS and can't figure out how to do it. Although it's a bit clunky at times to set up - like, would it kill them to put in a function to detect a running game for setting up a profile, instead of making us manually enter the program path? Sounds like you are trying to have the game map to raw button inputs? That doesn't always work, with multi-button gaming mice the extra buttons are often not ones that your operating system will automatically recognize.įor reference, I use a G602 when on the road, and a G600 on my gaming rig, so lots of buttons to program for different games, and never really run into an issue using the Logitech software.
